Computer Trilogy - Infinity Frequencies

March 11, 2026

Right now, I'm listening to the song "Frozen in time" by Infinity Frequencies. That song's in the Computer Afterlife album. I love the entire Computer Trilogy. They all tell a story just by the titles. Computer Decay, Computer Death, and Computer Afterlife. The story of an old computer who has lived long, and has gained consciousness. This computer has been loved by their owner for a long, long time. However, they are beginning to shut down. They know their owner will soon replace them. But instead of trying to escape death, they accept it. All things must come to an end, after all. It has happened to many computers before them, and they just hope the next computer gets the same amount of love that their owner gave them.

This is Part I, Computer Decay.

And then, the computer finally dies. They've had a long journey, and now it's over. Their system will never work again, they will never feel their owner's fingers touching their keyboard, and they will be thrown away or given away. Either way, their body will go somewhere. But where will their soul go? Where do computers go when they die?

This is Part II, Computer Death.

Where will they go, you ask? Well, that's completely up to you. Where are they now? Do you know?

This is the end, Part III, Computer Afterlife.

This entire thing was inspired by one of my stories, Angelic Dreams 2001, and the Computer Trilogy by Infinity Frequencies. Computer Decay, Computer Death, and Computer Afterlife.

Where do computers go when they die...?
